Lonely Lighthouse Olsen Defeo

Lonely lighthouse
On the edge of the world
Its light is a slow prayer
For forgotten ships
Waves crash against the rock
And the wind writes long names
Of the nights on the glass
The tower breathes
A heavy draft of darkness
And the night listens to the light
As a vow to return
For travelers it is a direction
For the world, a reminder
The light survives
Even when darkness falls
